2008 Enjoying Planned Retirement Art and Craft Exhibition

Enjoying Planned Retirement’s Art and Craft Exhibition has returned for its third year as part of the Maroondah Seniors Festival.

Enjoying Planned Retirement, with over 400 members, is one of three seniors groups based in Norwood Hall in Warrandyte Road, Ringwood North. EPR provides a diverse range of events for Maroondah’s seniors, such as social outings, day trips, drama groups and sporting activities.

Cr. Jo-anne Taylor accompanied me to the launch this evening and I once again had the pleasure to officially open the event. I would like to thank the many members of EPR who have welcomed me over the past three years and for inviting me to view the many events the group holds.

I have often mentioned that there is never a dull moment with EPR and the fun, friendly atmosphere of the group ensures that all its members are able to feel included and find an activity that they enjoy. The fun and friendly atmosphere of EPR is a testament to the many skills and talents of our senior citizens and I extend my congratulations to the group for its third successful art and craft exhibition.
