The Neighbourhood Policing Forum is a Victoria Police initiative, whereby Victoria Police explore crime statistics and respond to public questions.
Tonight’s forum was held at the Sandridge Events Centre on the grounds of the Port Melbourne Football Club. Victoria Police openly listened to the community’s experiences with crime, with strong attendance by residents across the City of port Phillip.
It was also encouraging to see all available Councillors in attendance, and I thank each Councillor and the Mayor for attending this forum held within Montague Ward and openly listening to our community’s concerns over safety.
Victoria Police reiterated the importance in reporting crime, so please call 000 if you need to report a crime as this helps strengthen the case for additional Police resources within Port Phillip.
