I received a petition from Port Melbourne community members regarding Edwards Park and issues with the proposed relocation of the public toilet.

The petition asks Council to reconsider the proposed location and to strengthen community consultation in identifying a suitable site that accommodates residents and park users.

While there are constraints at Edwards Park due to a lack of Melbourne Water sewerage connections, it is important that Council engaging our community in finding suitable options.

The petition will be formally recognised at the February 19 Council Meeting.
