South Melbourne Market is governed by an Advisory Committee, comprised of two Councillors (myself and Cr Beti Jay of South Melbourne Ward) and three independent members.

This afternoon, Beti and I met members of the South Melbourne Market Committee and administration. Today’s meeting provided an informal opportunity to get to know each other, with committee meetings scheduled to commence from February.

South Melbourne Market is a pivotal community and economic icon within Port Phillip and I’m looking forward to my involvement on this committee in the year ahead.
