This morning Councillors from Port Phillip Council undertook Cultural Awareness Training delivered through the Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV).

The training provided an overview of Port Phillip’s diverse Jewish community and ongoing concerns over rising Antisemitism. The session also included a tour of Temple Beth Israel and a discussion on the various streams of Judaism.

These initiatives provide a fantastic opportunity to foster greater insights into the Port Phillip community and I thank both JCCV and Temple Beth Israel for conducting this session.
